¶ White Ink Settling Repair
When white ink may settle and cause faded color, the system automatically detects and repairs it — restoring uniform ink distribution and reducing print quality issues caused by white ink settling.
Great for: longer gaps between prints — pick up right where you left off, no manual maintenance needed, just print with more peace of mind.
Pre-print risk detection: If less than 3ml of white ink has been used in the past 36 hours, a popup appears before printing with two options — "Recover & Print" runs a white ink flash first, then continues printing automatically; "Skip, Start Printing" skips the flash and starts printing right away.
7-day do-not-disturb: Once enabled, the prompt won't repeat, but proactive repair keeps running as normal — White Ink Recovery can still be run manually from the maintenance page anytime. This state is saved locally and persists after an app restart.
Maintenance log entry: Each run is recorded in the maintenance log for easy tracking.
In rare cases, pressure changes during recovery may
cause missing lines in other colors. You can run a test
print to check, note it takes about 7 minutes. If you notice any missing lines, an Enhanced Medium Clean will fix it.
